The Next Diba Service receives the EPSA recognitions in Maastricht

Representatives of the Next Diba Service have received the Good Practice Award at the European Public Sector Awards (EPSA) 2025-2026 in Maastricht
The Next Diba Service, which supports local authorities in the province in accessing and managing European funds, has received the Good Practice Award in the category Delivering User-Centric Services at Subnational Level. The project was selected from a large number of European applications following a multi-stage evaluation process and assessment by a jury of experts.
During their stay in Maastricht, the representatives took part in the awards ceremony and in an EPSA dynamic problem-solving and prototyping session, a collaborative learning and working space for European public administrations aimed at transforming shared public-sector challenges into solutions that can be transferred to other territories and administrations.
Meanwhile, Destinació Barcelona Sostenible, a programme promoting a responsible and sustainable tourism model through cooperation between public administrations and stakeholders in the sector, received a Special Recognition. Created to mark the tenth edition of EPSA, this distinction recognises the evolution and continuous improvement of projects presented in previous editions.
Both recognitions strengthen the European profile of the Barcelona Provincial Council and highlight two working models based on cooperation, innovation and the continuous improvement of public services.
